A small, nurturing enrichment microschool 
rooted in connection, growth, and a love of learning

Monarch Spring was created from both my professional journey and my experience as a mother.

 

After completing my bachelor’s degree in English, I spent several years building a business in the event industry. During that time, I learned how to design thoughtful environments that bring people together in ways that feel intentional and meaningful.

 

Becoming a parent shifted everything. I began to see how deeply a child’s environment shapes their confidence, development, and sense of self. I also experienced how difficult it can be to find spaces that truly honor each child’s pace and individual needs.

 

This led me to deepen my understanding of early childhood. I pursued formal training in Montessori and Lifeways North America (Waldorf), and gained hands-on experience in nature-based and Reggio-inspired settings.

 

Monarch Spring is rooted in a belief in nurturing the whole child—supporting the head, the heart, and the hands in a balanced and meaningful way. It brings together inspiration from Finland’s child-centered approach, the creativity and inquiry of Reggio Emilia, the rhythm and warmth of Waldorf, and the Montessori emphasis on independence and real-life skills.

 

Monarch Spring is a small, nurturing enrichment microschool where childhood is not rushed. Where experiences feel meaningful, relationships are valued, and children are supported in their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

 

My hope is to cultivate a community where children feel safe, seen, and inspired, and where families feel a true sense of connection—fostering a lifelong love of learning.
